Guppy handles payments on behalf of users using **delegated, constrained spend authority**. Developers provide a payment method reference, and Guppy manages the complexities of checkout.

### Capabilities

* **Authorization & Retries**: Guppy handles transient payment failures.
* **Refunds**: Automated refund tracking if an order is canceled post-charge.
* **Receipts**: Automated collection of merchant receipts.

### Supported Funding Sources

* **Card‑on‑file**: Standard credit/debit cards.
* **Bank account (ACH)**: For lower-fee bulk transactions.
* **Enterprise invoicing**: Net-terms (where supported by merchant).
